"When I started to work here in Paris something happened that made me skeptical about my ability to design. Everything that I really hated became best sellers. So I started to think that maybe I had the wrong taste. It kind of bothered me. So when I started at Lanvin, after a year and a half of thinking I decided to do things differently. I decided to only do what I love, with those I love. These are the only clothes that people cannot copy because when you work with emotion it's something that's authentic. And authenticity is elegance."
